A person reads this inbox
Write to aurora@returntoaurora.com about anything at all. Below are the answers to the things people ask most, in case you would rather not wait.
I can't sign in
AURORA sends a link instead of asking for a password. If it has not arrived, check the spam folder — it comes from aurora@returntoaurora.com. The links expire after an hour, so if you are looking at an old one, ask for a fresh link and use the newest email. If it still does not work, write to us with the address you used and we will sort it out.
How do I cancel Aurora+?
It depends where you bought it, because whoever took the payment controls the cancellation:
- On the website — open the memory panel in the room and choose to manage your subscription.
- Android — Google Play app → your profile → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions.
- iPhone or iPad — Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
You keep Aurora+ until the end of the period you already paid for. We cannot cancel a store subscription on your behalf — the stores do not allow it — but the app will send you to the right place.
How do I delete my data?
Tap Hazel, then open the memory panel. You can read every note she keeps about you and remove them one at a time, or choose forget everything to clear your name, her notes, and your history at once.
To delete your whole account, go to delete your account — if you are signed in it happens straight away, with nothing kept. If you cannot sign in, email us from the address you signed up with and we will do it within 30 days at the outside, usually the same week. Cancel any active subscription first, otherwise it keeps billing through the store.
Something is broken
Tell us what you were doing and what happened, and roughly when. If it is on a phone, the make and model helps. We would rather hear about a small annoyance than have you quietly put up with it.
Hazel said something strange
Part of Aurora+ generates her replies with an AI model, so occasionally she will be off. If she says something that lands badly, we genuinely want to know — that is how the writing gets better.
She is a companion in a piece of software, not a therapist or a doctor, and nothing she says is medical advice. If you are in crisis, please contact your local emergency number — in the US you can call or text 988. Nobody is monitoring AURORA for emergencies.
